Introducing our latest innovation in tubeless valve technology: The Big Bore Valve range. Engineered with precision and designed to deliver maximum inflation simply and efficiently, this patent-pending valve sets a new standard and is the benchmark in high air flow tubeless tyre systems with a revolutionary ‘Straight through’ internal design for maximum airflow fire power.

Featuring a cutting-edge, integrated ball valve system, the valve ensures lightning-fast airflow, turbocharging the sealant filling process. Say goodbye to the hassle of traditional tubeless valves that clog up and require the valve core to be removed to fill sealant and achieve sufficient air flow during tubeless set up.

Our Big Bore Lite offers up to 230% higher air flow than traditional Presta valves thanks to the straight through bore design.

With our ball valve construction and integrated lever, you can quickly open and close the valve for effortless airflow control, and even fine tune your pressure whilst you're out riding.

Crafted from 7075 aircraft grade CNC machined aluminium construction with a stainless steel ball valve, this fully serviceable valve is built to withstand the toughest rides, whatever the conditions.

Full Bore, No Core

It raises the bar for high air flow tubeless tyre systems, with a revolutionary 'Straight through' internal design for maximum airflow.

Join the tubeless revolution with up to 254% increased airflow for faster inflation and efficiency.

Experience maximum airflow and simplified set up & servicing with our innovative coreless valve design with integrated stainless-steel lever-operated ball valve system.

The straight-through design delivers up to 254% greater airflow than Presta valves – Supercharging tubeless set ups and getting you back to the action fast.

The integrated lever opens and closes the valve for micro-adjustments to pressures whilst you’re riding, so you can adapt to changes in the terrain or conditions.

Precision CNC machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminium.

Featuring a universal valve head that’s compatible with most screw on and push fit pumps, as well as a 4-way tyre insert air flow base that’s compatible with most tubeless inserts.

With spanner flats on the head, lever and body, this valve can be serviced and maintained to last for years – Plus the coreless design means you can check sealant health through the valve with our Hey Dipstick! (Sold separately).

How To Use

01

Remove Ball Valve
First, remove the ball valve body, cap, locking ring & O-ring from the valve stem.

02

Choose Base
Choose the correct rubber base for your rim type. Rims with a curved rim section will use the circular rubber base. Rims with a square rim section will use the square rubber base. Slide this down to the bottom of the valve stem. (If your rim has a larger valve hole and the smaller circular fitment is too loose, use the larger circular fitment to plug the hole).

03

Push Valve Stem Into Hole
Now push the valve stem into the hole in the rim and push it right the way through. Then place the rubber 0-ring onto the valve stem and slide it all the way down until it meets the rim.

04

Screw Locking Nut
Screw the locking ring onto the valve stem and tighten down above the o-ring. This sandwiches between the locking ring and the rim.

05

Tighten Ball Valve Body
Firmly tighten the ball valve body onto the stem using your fingers. Now use a 4mm hex to hold the stem base in place inside the rim, and with an 8mm spanner, tighten the valve body to the stem with a quarter turn. Be careful not to over-tighten, which could lead to damaging the O-Ring. (Valve Tool servicing pack available separately). Rotate the body to ensure the lever is pointing towards you. TIP - Use some thread lock such as our Loc-On (available soon!) for an extra secure seal.

06

Push Firmly Down
Now push firmly down on the valve base inside the rim as you tighten the locking ring. Keep pushing until the locking ring is hand-tight and the rubber o-ring squashes out slightly. This way you know you've created a good airtight seal. TIP - Don't over-tighten as this can cause leakage.

07

Rotate Lever
Rotate the lever open and fill with Muc-Off Sealant and inflate to your desired PSI! Remember to close the valve so the arrow on the lever is pointing up before removing your pump. You're now ready to roll. To adjust psi on the fly simply open the valve slightly to release air to your desired pressure.
FAQS
  • Which valve do I need for my bike?

    CHOOSE YOUR FITMENT

    • LITE: Fitment: Presta Pump | Presta Rim | 230% Airflow vs Presta Valves
    • HYBRID: Fitment: Schrader Pump | Presta Rim | 254% Airflow vs Presta Valves
    • LUDICROUS (Coming Soon): Fitment: Schrader  Pump | Schrader Rim | 264% Airflow vs Presta Valves

    CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR

    • Choice of 6 eye-popping anodised colours (Black, Iridescent, Red, Blue, Orange or Pink). 60mm only available in Black.

    CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

Available in 4 sizes of valve stems to suit different rim depths. The length of valve you need will depend on the height/depth of your rim. You will need to ensure that you have enough threaded stem valve poking through the valve hole to not only secure it with the O-Ring and Lock ring but you will also need to be able to screw on the top half of the valve.

    • 30mm (Small)
    • 35mm (Medium)
    • 45mm (Large)
    • 60mm (Extra Large - Available in Black Only)
  • What’s the difference between Lite & Hybrid?

The lite version is slightly more lightweight and has a Presta fitment so will use a Presta Pump to inflate. The Hybrid version has an extra wide high airflow head which uses a Presta drilled rim but with a Schrader valve for a slightly higher airflow rate. Hybrid requires aSchraderpump which most pumps have.

  • Can I switch to Hybrid if I already have a Presta valve installed on my bike?

Yes, for sure. All it will mean is that you will now have a Schrader valve so you will inflate it with a Schrader Pump, which almost all pumps have.

  • Why switch to Big Bore vs current Tubeless Valves?

With a coreless ball valve it has a ‘straight through’ internal design it has maximum airflow. The means that you can inflate your tyres and add in sealant much quicker vs a regular Presta valves.

It delivers a higher flow rate of up to 264% vs standard Presta, meaning you can inflate in seconds versus potentially minutes, and even quicker with a co2 inflator.

In addition, with it having no valve core and a servicing kit coming soon, it means your valves will last for much longer and won’t need to be replaced as often.

  • Can I use Big Bore with my secure tag holder?

Yes, the Muc-Off Secure Tag Holder is compatible with Big Bore Tubeless Valves.

  • When is the Ludicrous Big Bore Valve launching?

Whilst we can’t give an exact date now, we expect it to launch in late 2024/early 2025.
