    Wenn Sie ein E-Bike besitzen, wissen Sie, dass das Reinigen und Schmieren Ihrer Kette eine heikle Angelegenheit ist, da sich die Kurbel nicht wie bei einem normalen Fahrrad rückwärts dreht, es sei denn, sie wird umgedreht. Dies kann jedoch zu Kratzern an den Komponenten führen, oder wenn Sie einen Inbusschlüssel in Ihre Kurbelschraube stecken lassen, kann dieser in der Schraube stecken bleiben oder, schlimmer noch, Ihre wertvollen Kurbeln beschädigen! Wir wussten also, dass wir Ihnen mit einem coolen neuen Werkzeug zur Hilfe kommen mussten, mit dem Sie Ihr E-Bike schnell und einfach reinigen und schmieren können.

    Unser neues, präzisionsgefertigtes Antriebswerkzeug für E-Bikes enthält drei unterschiedlich große Werkzeugaufsätze, die mit einer magnetischen Verbindung einrasten. Das Ganze ist in einem robusten, CNC-gefrästen Gehäuse aus 6061-Aluminium untergebracht. Es passt direkt auf Ihr Kettenblatt, sodass Sie Ihre Kurbel rückwärts drehen können. Die schützende Silikonhülle verhindert Schäden an der Kurbel.

    Es wird mit einem praktischen Schlüsselband und einem Karabinerhaken geliefert, sodass Sie das Werkzeug immer zur Hand haben, wenn Ihr Antriebsstrang etwas Liebe braucht!

  • HOE

    Directions for use:

    1. Unscrew the top cap then remove the tool bit holder from inside the body.
    2. Select the appropriate tool bit for your crank (5mm, 6mm Hex, T30 Hex) then place the tool bit holder back inside and re-screw the top cap on.
    3. Place the selected tool bit into the end of the tool. You will feel it magnetically snap into place.
    4. Place the tool bit into place on your crank bolt, ensuring it is in straight and central.
    5. Slowly backpedal until the crank buts up against the silicone sleeve on the body of the tool.
    6. Rotate the crank backwards whilst holding the pedal to carry out your cleaning and lubricating regime.
    7. When removing the drivetrain tool from the chain bolt you may need to pedal forward slightly.
    8. Carefully remove tool and store tool bit back inside tool bit holder

    NB: Periodically spray a protectant such as HCB-1, MO-94 or Bike Protect onto the end and magnet to ensure there is zero corrosion

  • Benodigdheden

    Is it safe to spin my cranks and chainring backwards on an eBike?

    Yes, this is safe to do. During the development we had this verified by a Bosch motor service engineer who confirmed it would not cause any issues with the motor.

    Will the tool fit all eBike chainrings?

    Our Drivetrain Tool is not compatible with spiderless chainrings, however will fit most chainrings that use a bolt on spider chainring. Due to the tapered spider chainring on some ebikes such as the Specialized Levo SL, the tool bit is slightly too short to extend into the chainring bolt. If you experience an issue with this, please contact us and we'll send you a free internal spacer to help extend the tool bit.

    Will the tool damage my crank arms?

    No, we’ve designed the tool with a protective silicone sleeves that wraps around the body of the tool and rests against the crank arms when in use.

    How is this product sustainable?
