    Het is een eenvoudig te gebruiken 'spray on' waterdichtingsbehandeling, ontworpen om de fabrieksprestaties te herstellen op alle waterdichte en ademende stoffen. Het maakt gebruik van de nieuwste technologie om de oppervlaktespanning van de stof te verminderen en de allerbeste waterdichtheid te bieden zonder de ademende eigenschappen van de stoffen te beïnvloeden. Het helpt ook om te beschermen tegen modder en ingelopen vlekken. En het beste? Het is veilig voor het milieu, omdat het op waterbasis is en geen PFC's bevat!

    Onze state-of-the-art 'spray on' formule biedt ongeëvenaarde bescherming binnen 24 uur na behandeling. Na het aanbrengen zal het water parelen en eraf rollen, zodat u beschermd bent om onder de zwaarste omstandigheden te gaan en te raderen.

  • HOW TO

    1. Shake bottle well before use to activate the formula.
    2. Spray all over a clean, damp garment from 10-15cm away until garment is fully treated. (We would recommend using a technical performance wash to clean the garment before application. Always follow the washing instructions on the label.). We recommend spraying in a well-ventilated, dry area.
    3. Remove any excess treatment with a clean cloth.
    4. . Allow treatment to cure. Air dry by hangingup and leave to dry overnight before wearing garment in wet conditions again.
    5. The efficiency of the DWR applied to the surface of the technical apparel will gradually wear off over time with normal wear and washing, so we recommend refreshing the coating every 3 months depending on wear and washing. All waterproof clothing needs to be cared for to keep it performing at its best. Using ordinary household detergent will ultimately break down the DWR and impair the water repellent due to the heavy surfactants in these products. If you notice that water is no longer beading on the surface of your garment and soaking into the fabric then it is time to refresh with re-proofer. Best applied to a clean, damp garment for optimum results.

    How many jackets/garments can I treat per bottle?

    Depending on how much you use the 250ml bottle will treat around 2 garments (XL sized jackets) per bottle. 

    How long will the treatment last after application?

    The efficiency of the DWR applied to the surface of the technical apparel will gradually wear off over time with normal wear and washing, so we recommend refreshing the coating every 3 months depending on wear and washing. 

    All waterproof clothing needs to be cared for to keep it performing at its best. Using ordinary household detergent will ultimately break down the DWR and impair the water repellent due to the heavy surfactants in these products. If you notice that water is no longer beading on the surface of your garment and soaking into the fabric then it is time to refresh with re-proofer.

    Can you use Rain Shield on normal clothes?

    The spray will add a DWR coating to the fabric to provide some water resistance, but you cannot make non-waterproof fabric fully waterproof.
